Students

Personal Identification Number (PIN)

The University assigns a default four digit Personal Identification Number (PIN) that may be used to access some campus services.

Current Students
All students should change their PIN to a seven character value; change your PIN through the Student Center in the My UW-Madison portal. If you lose or forget your NetID and/or password, please go to the MyUW website and use the Help functions or call the DoIt HELP Desk at (608) 264-4357.

Alumni, former students and non Undergraduate applicants
If you lose or forget your PIN number, please call the Enrollment Services Help Line to obtain a new PIN at (608) 263-6612.
