Advance Payment Available - Department of Veterans Affairs

The Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33)

On August 1, 2009, The Post 9/11 GI Bill (Chapter 33) went into effect. For more information on this benefit, please visit The United States Department of Veteran Affairs website. Click on Education Benefits, then GI Bill Information.

The Wisconsin GI Bill (WI GI Bill)

In the 2009-2011 Wisconsin State Budget significant changes were made to the Wisconsin GI Bill tuition remission benefit program. All current recipients of the program must complete a "Verification of Continued Eligibility" form to receive the benefit, effective Spring 2010 term. UW System has created a comprehensive website documenting this and other significant changes with the WI GI Bill. We strongly encourage student veterans to become familiar with the UW System information and FAQs regarding the Wisconsin GI Bill at the following web links:
